My breath caught at the sight of this perfectly framed pine, swaying against a backdrop of turquoise-blue ocean. A tree forever in motion, even when still. Its limbs frozen, tilted toward the shore from years of exposure to the ocean's winds. I love the trees here - they tell a bigger story, one shaped by the environment in which they live. They show how the environment we live in deeply impacts how we grow. They do their best with their circumstances and always turn toward the light.
